Casual Employment
QPAC employs casual staff in the areas of Box Office, Backstage, Green Room, Foyer Bars, Restaurants and Front of House.

Work Experience
QPAC's work experience primarily provides opportunities for high school, TAFE and Tertiary students for whom an unpaid work placement is part of their curriculum. An exceptional opportunity currently exists for a highly motivated, innovative individual in the full time permanent role of Publicity Manager.
Reporting to the Director - Marketing and Ticketing, this challenging position will be responsible for maximising publicity for both corporate affairs and commercial activity through planning and implementing media campaigns for QPAC, its activities and hirers.
The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience in achieving positive publicity outcomes, as well as a high standard of oral and written communication skills, including the ability to write press releases and effectively liaise with a broad range of people. Also critical to this position is the ability to maintain and develop on-going relationships with the media and also to provide support and publicity advice to QPAC hirers. Flexible working hours may be arranged if required by the successful applicant.

An exceptional opportunity currently exists for a highly motivated individual to join QPAC in the role of Human Resources Officer.
Reporting to the Manager – Human Resources, this role within the Human Resources team will assist in the provision of professional human resource services to management and employees on a range of HR issues, including recruitment and selection, induction and training, rehabilitation, counselling and EEO. In addition, this role assists in the provision of administrative support and assistance to the HR team.
A Human Resources degree (or equivalent) and previous human resources experience are essential in this role as well as a strong customer service orientation, excellent communication skills, initiative and judgement to achieve high quality outcomes.
